Technical and security data
The hosting and infrastructure layers may process information such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs, response status and security or diagnostic events. This processing is used to deliver the service, protect it against abuse, investigate failures and maintain reliability.
Where applicable, the legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in operating and securing the service under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is retained only for the period reasonably necessary for those operational and security purposes, taking account of the retention settings of the infrastructure used by StatsXI.
Contact messages
If you contact StatsXI, the information contained in your message and related correspondence is processed to answer the enquiry, investigate reported data issues and maintain relevant project communication. Depending on the nature of the request, the legal basis may be legitimate interests or steps requested before entering into an agreement.
Correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to deal with the request and, where relevant, to document the communication or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Recipients and service providers
Personal data may be processed by providers used to host, secure and operate the site or to handle project email, acting under their own legal roles and contractual arrangements as applicable. Access is limited to what is needed for the relevant service.
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, StatsXI will rely on an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, where required.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Strictly necessary technical storage may be used to provide and secure the service. Non-essential analytics, advertising or profiling technologies must not be activated before any consent required by applicable law has been obtained.
If StatsXI enables audience measurement or advertising services, this notice and the consent interface will be updated before non-essential tracking is activated, including the relevant providers, purposes and user controls. Withdrawing or refusing non-essential consent must not prevent access to the core public statistics service.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to personal data concerning you, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
No account profiling or automated decisions
StatsXI does not currently require public user accounts and does not use visitor profiles to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Football analytics shown on the site concern matches and teams, not automated decisions about visitors.
Updates
This notice may be updated when the technical stack, advertising setup or processing activities change. Material changes should be reflected here before the corresponding processing begins.
